Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw

my rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok, so I went into this book blind because I didn't want to have any preexisting judgments about it. I'm glad I did this. There were so many polarizing reviews concerning this book, however, I don't know why that is.  The plot follows the main character, Nora, as she navigates what happened to a young man she finds in a magical forest. I loved it. The story plot was fresh, smart and intriguing. It turned into a mystery that I wasn't expecting and I chewed through it quickly. I ended up staying up all night reading (this never happens) because I couldn't sleep without knowing what happens. If you love mystery, magical forests and strong women this is the book for you.

I gave this book 4 stars because I would easily read it again and recommend it to a friend.
