OWLs Readathon update

I have completed some books for my OWLs! Yay! So far I have completed Charms or book with a white cover. This was my selection for one subject of my choosing.

Next, I completed History of Magic or a book featuring witches or wizards.
Last, I'll need Muggle Studies which requires a contemporary book. I haven't chosen one yet but it'll be coming soon. This will be my last subject and then I will be done! YAY! 

 How is everyone doing this season? Did you pass already? What are your book choices?

my rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huge thanks to Random House Children and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.  I know this story is suppose to be in comparison to Sorcery of Thorns and Furyborn but don't think that is an accurate comparison. The story didn't put an emphasis on libraries and there were more characters involved rather than the protagonist heavy Furyborn. This was such a fun simple story. Jennesara is a princess born with magic she was never suppose to inherit. On the way to her betrothed, her wagon is attacked and she is stranded in a magic forest. Jennesara escapes, is picked by up the royal guard and taken to the castle of her betrothed. Under a false name, she does her best to save her kingdom and the prince she comes to love. Magical Readthon O.W.L.s 2020

Welcome back to my blog! Thank you for visiting. As many of you know already, the 2020 O.W.L.s Readathon hosted by Booktuber Book Roast is now upon us for the month of April.   This year I have chose to participate and after "consulting with my career advisor," I have chosen...drum roll...Journalist or Writer. Shocking I know. So here is what is required for me to pass my "exam." The way it works is you find your career in the guidebook. I'll link it here: Wizarding Careers Guidebook 2020 here . You pick your "career" (mine being Journalist or Writer) and then these course are what you are required to complete for OWLs. So as seen above, they are History of Magic, Muggle Studies and a subject of my choosing. So these "courses" are now linked to reading prompts. Adulthood is a Myth by Sarah Andersen

my rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As we all know, "adulting" is hard and Sarah did a great job of capturing that on paper.  I enjoyed this so much. This is a series of comics that explain all the ironies of "adulting." The art is simple but fun. The comics are short and quippy. I laughed out loud so many times. If you need a break from the norm, just pick this up. It's a quick read and great break from the norm.  I gave this 5 stars. I would for sure recommend this to anyone and everyone and I am already considering rereading it.
